Community-Based Tourism (CBT) Network

he Vietnam Community-Based Tourism (CBT) Network was established in July 2007 by a group of NGOs, tourism operators and other interested parties to develop community-based tourism as a means of improving the livelihoods of the rural poor. It also aims to support the exchange of information, further raise the profile of CBT, and perform advocacy activities for CBT and the target groups of its development (typically rural, ethnic-minority poor). The Vietnam CBT Network provides a platform for improving and expanding community-based tourism through better engagement and coordination among local partners and practitioners.
